I recently stayed at this hotel for a short trip to explore the city. The location was perfect, right next to Gran Via and within walking distance to major museums. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure my comfort, even turning on the A/C ahead of my arrival during a heat wave. The room was clean and comfortable, with a small balcony overlooking the street. The breakfast included was more diverse than expected and provided a great start to the day. for such an affordable price, this hotel was a great choice.

We had a great stay at Hostal La Zona. The location was perfect for exploring both the day and nightlife of Madrid. We loved how close it was to the historical part of the city, just a 5-minute walk across the main street. On the opposite side, we found the vibrant and colorful neighborhood of Chueca. The metro station was also conveniently located just a few steps away, making it easy to get around. The room we had, with a private bathroom, was clean and had all the necessary amenities like shampoo. While the room was small, it was perfect for us as we spent most of our time exploring the city and just needed a comfortable place to sleep. we really enjoyed our stay at Hostal La Zona.

We had a fantastic stay at Hostal La Zona. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home in their comfortable and clean accommodations. The location couldn't have been better, just steps away from Gran Via and the metro stop. The long breakfast hours and bowl of fruits were a nice touch, and we even had a desk in our room to get some work done. The free and speedy wifi was a huge plus. We would definitely choose to stay here again when traveling to Madrid.

Small hotel in a very convenient area short walk to historical part, everything, shopping, sightseeing and Retiro Park is about a 15min walk away and all the bars. Central location, a 10-15 minute walk from Plaza de Canalejas. Perfect little, compact rooms with bathroom...
